ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) is an all digital communications line that allows for the transmission of voice, data, video and graphics, at very high speeds, over standard communication lines. ISDN provides a single, common interface with which to access digital communications services that are required by varying devices, while remaining transparent to the user. Due to the large amounts of information that ISDN lines can carry, ISDN applications revolutionized the way businesses communicate. ISDN is not restricted to public telephone networks alone; it may be transmitted via packet switched networks, telex, CATV networks, etc. RADCOM's Performer suite supports a wide range of international ISDN standards, including Euro-ISDN (ETSI), 1TR6, VN3/VN4, ISDN 30 [DASS-2], ISDN National-1, ISDN National-2, NTT-INS, ARINC Attachment 11/Attachment 17, Australia, DMS100, DPNSS1, 5ESS, V.120 with header, V.120 without header, TS013 Australia, TS014 Australia, Swiss Telecom, QSig (ISO/IEC 11572), T1.607(ANSI), Telecom Australia (BRI) and Telecom Australia (PRI). RADCOM's PrismLite family of protocol anlayzers support ISDN PRI and BRI. Using the analyzer’s 2-channel capabilities, it is possible to monitor a combination of channels; these channels can be an ISDN with another ISDN BRI or PRI channels or any other combination of technologies in order to montior information as it traverses the network. The PrismLite family provide both ISDN Analysis and Simulation, and an ISDN Consultant, an application for ISDN session analysis. |
