Intrusive probes provide link quality and performance measurements for Voice/VoIP service by generating test calls between probes. Users can define a flexible, automated schedule of calls, or execute ad hoc (QuickTest) calls. Creating automated test schedules is an important component of real proactive monitoring/testing, as it enables operators to benchmark the voice service quality and detect degradation before their customers do. These intrusive probes provide availability (signaling) and voice quality (PESQ) measurements on the test call session. VoIP Monitoring Solution Components |
